Fresh Orchards, located on 12 acres in the beautiful
Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, invites you
to visit our fruit stand and take home some fresh-picked apples.
Mountain Fresh Orchards is family-owned and has existed since
1981. We have 13 varieties of apples to choose from
along with mountain cabbage, local tomatoes and sweet potatoes.
Visit our bakery, and get your fill of sweets to eat.
We offer fresh hot fried apple pies, whole apple pies,
apple dumplings and muffins.
Quinch your thirst, with a cup of apple cider slush or peach cider slush.
On those cool fall days warm up with a cup of hot mulled apple cider or coffee.
If you are looking for "Canned Goods" you have come to the right
place:
We have apple butter, pumpkin butter, peach butter, jellies,
jams, preserves, chow chow, pickles, relish, syrups, salsa and
Carolina bar-b-q sauce. Our local honey and molasses will taste
delicious on hot buttered biscuits.
Your visit would not be complete without a jug of fresh squeezed apple
cider or if you prefer pasteurized you can choose from apple cider,
cherry apple cider, muscadine cider, peach cider or scuppernong cider.
We have pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and other fall decorations to
make your home, classroom or fall festival bright and beautiful.
To prepare your apples for canning or freezing an apple peeler is
a must have. Visit our kitchen corner for other kitchen needs and
don’t forget to grab a bag of apple crisp to bake up a delicious dessert.
So plan to load up the family this fall and visit us at Mountain Fresh
Orchards. We are open daily from late August through mid November
8 am to 7 pm. Plenty of parking for vans, RV’s and buses.
